Over 15 years experience providing clinical ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services to families with Special Needs children in diverse settings, has allowed me to develop an evidence-based, problem-solving repertoire that addresses client and family needs, first.
Yoga
Heavily influenced by Bonnie Bainbridge-Cohen (Body-Mind Centering), Lisa Clark (Embodiyoga), and Iyengar teachers, Marcela Clavijo and HS Arun, class has evolved into an inquisitive exploration of yogic fundamentals that are grounded in alignment while emphasizing embodiment. Yielding and softening into poses so they are experienced more fully, leads to a deeper experience of self-to-self and self-to-other. I completed my RYT-2OO hr training at Dallas Yoga Center.
Fully aware of the limited options for Special Needs individuals, classes are open to students with mixed abilities. I am fluent in American Sign Language.
